Fair does not always mean equal

Fair means equity, which is making sure that everyone has what they need to be successful while recognizing that everyone has different needs, challenges, and abilities. Everyone cannot be given all of the same exact things. Everyone needs to be given some different things based on their unique needs. Giving every person all of the same exact things would mean that no one's needs were being met because every person has different needs.
